What you need to know
Naturopathy at Goodkind is a root-cause, functional approach to health, blending modern science with traditional healing wisdoms. Our aim is to deeply understand what’s happening in your body so we can address underlying drivers of symptoms — not just suppress them. This happens through detailed consultations, testing and tailored treatment plans designed forlong-lasting health improvements.
Initial Consultation
- 60–70 minutes (in-person or online)
- A comprehensive deep dive into your symptoms, medical history, diet and lifestyle
- Discussion of any recommended testing
- Development of a personalised treatment strategy
- Your treatment summary is emailed at the end of the day
Goodkind practitioners use this time to thoroughly understand you and what’s contributing to your concerns.
Extended Subsequent Consultation – 50 mins
- Designed for reviewing progress with additional time
- Ideal for reviewing test results or adjusting treatment
- Includes personalised treatment summary at the end of the day
Subsequent Consultation – 40 mins
- Focus on progress check-in
- Review symptoms, test results and treatment adjustments
Short Consultation – 20 mins
- Quick check-ins for issues like supplement review
- No formal treatment summary due to shorter duration
After your first visit, you receive a clear, personalised treatment plan outlining:
- Nutrition and lifestyle guidance
- Supplement and herbal prescriptions (if appropriate)
- Functional testing recommendations
- Action steps to support your goals
- Future plans and takeaways
- Referrals to other healthcare practitioners as appropriate
Our team consists of highly trained naturopaths with diverse clinical skills. Each practitioner brings experience in functional, evidence-based care while working collaboratively with one another — meaning you benefit from combined insight and expertise for your health journey. Before your first visit:
- Complete the health intake form (emailed to you prior to your appointment)
- Provide or email any recent pathology or test results to us at hello@goodkind.com.au
- Prepare a list of current supplements and medications
- Sometimes we may ask for images of your nails, tongue or eyes to help inform treatment
This helps make your consultation as effective and personalised as possible.
Naturopathy can support a wide range of health concerns, including:

Your practitioner will help identify the areas you’d most benefit from addressing during your consult.
Naturopathy is due to be reinstated under private health funds in Australia in mid 2026. We advise you to keep any invoices which we email to you to check with your health fund if rebates are available .
If you have a budget in mind please discuss this with your practitioner, we happily work within your scope! All fees for consultations are outlined here. Testing varies and can start from $50 up to $500 depending on the type of test. Herbal medicines, supplements and other recommendations or prescriptions vary in price but will always be discussed with you. We aim to keep things as minimal and targeted as possible - no over prescribing here!
You can reorder practitioner-only products and prescriptions via the Client Portal on the website. If you’re unsure what to reorder or are mid-protocol, please email your practitioner for guidance.
Yes. Functional testing is a central part of how we identify root causes to illness. Tests help us see what’s happening under the surface and guide your personalised treatment. Types of testing that may be recommended include:
- Stool testing (microbiome mapping, stool analysis)
- Hormone testing (saliva or urine DUTCH testing)
- Breath testing for SIBO or H. pylori
- Blood panels (iron, B12, liver function etc)
- Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis
- Microbiome swabs (vaginal or oral)
- Organic Acids Test (OAT)
Testing costs vary depending on type and will always be discussed first during your consultation.
Your care with Goodkind can work alongside your GP, specialist or other healthcare providers. Collaboration often leads to the best outcomes — we’ll always respect your existing medical care team. We can happily write referral letters for you or provide any information your other healthcare providers may need - with your consent of course.
Shipping & Returns
Ready-made formulas and supplements (such as magnesium, fish oil and other practitioner products) are typically fulfilled same day where possible (excluding weekends and public holidays).
Please note:
Herbal tonics, custom skin creams, vaginal creams, irrigations and pill organisers are compounded by our dispensary team and are sent weekly on Fridays. Because these are bespoke products made by our Naturopath team they take a little extra time and care.
If your order contains one of these customised products, they will be dispatched on the next Friday and may arrive separately to any ready-made supplements in your order.
We appreciate your patience — each customised formula is prepared specifically for you to ensure quality and accuracy.
You will receive tracking details once your order has been dispatched.
Orders are shipped via Australia Post. Delivery timeframes vary depending on your location but generally range from 2–7 business days after dispatch for regular post.
Express shipping may be available at checkout and typically arrives within 1-3 days depending on your location.
Please ensure your shipping address is correct at the time of ordering, as we are unable to redirect parcels once dispatched.

We are able to arrange special orders for many practitioner products.
We also recommend using the search function on our website to help locate specific items quickly.
Due to the nature of health products and medicines and for safety and hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns on:
- Opened or used supplements
- Practitioner-only products
- Custom herbal tonics or compounded creams
- Perishable goods
- Downloadable digital products
We are also unable to accept returns for change of mind.
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@goodkind.com.au, including your order number and photos of the damaged product. We will assess the issue and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
